Last Thursday Lanky girl and Co was lucky enough to receive an invite to James Morrison’s gig for MasterCard Priceless London at Stamford Bridge’s live music venue in Chelsea. For those of you who don’t know what MasterCard Priceless London is about, MasterCard holders get exclusive free access to events in London. Events range from West End shows to concerts by international stars like James Morrison. Once you have registered you will receive emails when they have events and all you have to do is get in there and sign up!
Now for the concert, I have to admit that even though I had heard of a few of James’s big hits like “You Give Me Something” I wasn’t sure that I would like enough of his music to stand 90 mins of it. Fortunately James was spectacular, his performance was energetic and his voice amazing. We didn’t want him to stop singing! The best thing about the venue was how modern and intimate it was. Because there were only 400 tickets for the event there was enough room to see the stage without the usual pushing and shoving. Also how many gigs do you go to that the food and drink is free? We had the pleasure of tasting an array of canapes, mini fish and chips was my favourite.
Oh and best of all was getting to meeting James backstage with the rest of the competition winners. Will post the picture we took when I get them

In this economic climate its nice that the big guys are giving something back. Lanky Girl is giving her whole experience of MasterCard Priceless London a big thumbs up!
