Lanky Girl goes to Vanity Fair, Christie’s and Saatchi Thinking Big Frieze Party

17 Oct

Yesterday evening, I quickly ran home after work to get glammed up to attend my first Frieze Art Fair Party courtesy of sponsors beluga Vodka. Vanity Fair in conjunction with the Saatchi Gallery and Christie’s auction house threw a party at The Sorting Office building to celebrate Thinking Big. Thinking Big is a major exhibition of contemporary sculptures and installation which will be sold to benefit the Saatchi Gallery’s Foundation.

During the night we were entertained by Dj Isaac Ferry, plied with copious amounts of champagne and Beluga Vodka and enjoyed some good old fish and chips. London’s most beautiful, stylish and rich were out in mass, we even spotted a few celebrities. Made in Chelsea’s Mark Francis Vandelli, Nancy Dell’Olio, Sugababe – Jade Ewen and Rap Superstar Eve! The art on show definitely encapsulated the slogan thinking big.

I woke up this morning a little worse for wear but with some nice memories of the night. See below to see some of the art that is part of Thinking Big.

You can see the exhibition for FREE until tomorrow 18th October at The Sorting Office, New Oxford Street.
