The best thing about living in a city like London is that its sheer size means there is always something new to discover. Last week I was introduced to The Bridge Coffee House in Shoreditch. Situated on Kingsland Road, entering into the Coffee house is like stepping back in time. Decorated with old photographs, trophies, memorabilia and chandeliers it is a shrine to all things vintage. The Bridge is small, warm, cozy and run by friendly staff. Offerings include delicious tarts, cakes, tea and coffee. With the furnishings you can see that there has been a lot of time and effort put in to making it look authentic. They even have an old cash register which means they can only take cash for now. The Bridge Coffee House is a great place to take a date or somewhere quiet to work (free wifi). Make your way upstairs to be greeted with a lovely surprise.
