Take part in the world’s first gameshow on twitter with @BT_UK #GuessThePrize

Happy Nerdy 60s Game Show Host Giving 2 Thumbs Up

These days it seems that nothing is impossible on twitter, but it seems that no one had attempted to host a gameshow on the network until now!

To celebrate the BT Big Broadband Sale offering BT Infinity for only £7.50, BT will create the world’s first game show live on Twitter. Now seeing as Christmas has left a lot of us dry this is your chance to win yourself a nice treat! They’ll be giving away amazing prizes every hour, starting at 12pm on January 10th with a live round lasting each time 7 minutes and 50 seconds.

How do you play?

Well make sure you are following @BT_UK on twitter for a start then all you have to do is spot the prize worth £7.50 and tweet in you answer for the chance to win the entire prize bundle. To enter successfully,  your tweet will need to feature the hashtag #GuessThePrize, the item valued at £7.50 and @ mentioning @BT_UK

The live game show will take place during 5 hourly slots (12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm). Within this time you will have a 7 minutes and 50 seconds period to answer correctly. This will happen 5 times in total, once every hour, on the hour. Within the 7 minutes 50 seconds live stream the presenter will call on Twitter users to spot the £7.50 bargain amongst a range of different priced prizes that run past on a ‘game show’ conveyor belt to win all the prizes on show. Prizes include Xbox 1, Home Entertainment system, Barclays Premier League tickets and many more which will be unveiled on the day.

Each successful answer will go into a prize draw made up from correct guesses tweeted in during the stream before a correct answer is selected and the countdown starts again.

Following the final stream an extended prize draw will be open until 9pm for those who missed out during the day.

Win a set of Business cards with Instant Print

lanky-business-card

I’ve found as a blogger who goes to a lot of events that I am often asked for my business card. Recently I was asked by the lovely people at Instant print if I would like to trial their services and create my own business card. It is just as well as I have started to run out. (I received 1000!) You can see the finished product above, i’m quite impressed how my design turned out and the quality of the card was good. I opted for a glossy finish which I think looks lovely.

With prices starting at £3.00 for a set of 100 I think they are pretty reasonable and the delivery of the cards was pretty quick. Apparently they offer a 24 hour turnaround which is handy for those lastminute events.

4 x 1000 sets of Instant Print business cards to give away!

Instant Print are offering 4 lucky readers of The London Perspective the chance to win 1000 business cards of their own design.

All you have to do is send an email to thelondonperspective@gmail.com saying “I want instant print business cards!”

The four winners will be sent picked at random by feb 15th!

East Vs West London Whose Side Are You On?

This post is sponsored by Westfield

Olympic Opening Ceremony? Were you there?

Even though I profess to loving all parts of London, the Olympics has brought home  just how much East London is dear to my heart. The East maybe slightly grimy, a little rough around the edges but with Stratford hosting the Olympics, people from around the world are seeing why East London is vibrant, edgy and cool. Of course having grown up here I may be a little biased :). With the Olympics in full swing it is in the spirit of competition that Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City  go head to head.

What do you think?

Westfield in London is giving everyone their own ‘I was there’ story which will live on as part of the legacy of London 2012. From the landmarks to the people, East and West London each have their own unique energy and flair which make up London. This summer, a competition between ‘Team East’ and ‘Team West’ will generate a healthy rivalry between the two sides of London while showcasing the best of the city.

Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City are going head to head in a battle of East vs West. Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, show your allegiance and share your story by signing up to Team East or Team West.

By signing up you become part of a team which represents your side of London. Your pictures, tweets, videos tagged #IWASTHERE become part of a hub of content representing East or West London. This is your chance to show why your side is the BEST!

Westfield is offering some great prizes for participating and sharing your content: More than £25,000 worth of Visa prepaid cards to spend at Westfield is up for grabs as well as London 2012 and Team GB merchandise.

Sign up  and start racking up those points and who knows you may even come home with gold!
