An Alternative Valentine’s Day Pop Up – Miss Cakeheads Think Ink Florist

_MG_7672This Valentine’s Day London creative Miss Cakehead teams up with Kraken Black Spiced Rum to open ‘Think Ink’, the first ever florist offering only black roses.

This ‘alternative Valentine’s’ florist will have macabre bouquets arranged in grave vases, with a bottle of Kraken Black Spiced Rum given in place of the traditional champagne option. The bouquets, made up of Turkish Halfeti roses, Calendula Lily Eclips and Queen of the Night Tulips, will be placed in vases full of Kraken rum, rather than water, turning them black.

Pick up a range of black floral bouquets and a 5cl bottle of Kraken Black Spiced Rum, for a voluntary donation to the Project Redsand charity.
Open from 8am on 14 February, for one day only.

Award-winning interactive Valentine’s Day theatre – Emma

Check out this immersive theatre event this Valentine’s Day!

emma-gwyneth paltrow

Award-winning interactive theatre company ONEOHONE is reviving its dating event – a modernised interactive version of Jane Austen’s ‘Emma’.  Suitable for couples and singles, this event will be hosted by Emma herself, who will lead audience members through games, riddles, and even a ceilidh in an attempt to ensure them their perfect match.  However, other characters from the novel have turned up to play, and for Emma, the path to true love never did run smooth.

The show will perform at Drink, Shop & Do on 12th February at 7.15pm, followed by the Leicester Square Theatre at 9pm on 13th February.

It will be a light-hearted alternative to Valentine’s Day’s traditional chocolates and hearts – or for anyone, single or in a relationship looking for some lighthearted fun.
