Not only is this weekend going to be an absolute scorcher! It’s also jam-packed with things to do in London. I was rubbing my hands in glee when I discovered all the potential activities I could get up to in the sunshine (well only if I have a body double). Anyway here is the low down. No excuses to stay in this weekend guys!
Everyone loves a good FREEBIE! Enjoy styling from ASOS, manicures by Nails inc, hairstyling by TONI&GUY and delicious Malibu cocktails at Malibutique pop-up at Westfield Stratford City from 12th-14th July.
If you are the green fingered sort then this is just the event for you. Finishing on the 14th July visitors can discover a mix of glorious show gardens with a wealth of opportunities to see planting and country crafts close up; fine dining with dazzling floral displays and all things ‘grow-your-own’; live music with fabulous shopping, fashion and food.
“St Martin’s Courtyard will pay tribute to the heritage and future of Covent Garden this summer with a festival celebrating food and flowers. On Saturday 13 July between 12 noon and 5pm, all six international restaurants will serve unique, exclusively created dishes and drinks with a floral theme, al fresco in the courtyard”.
Calling all Francophiles, the Bastille Festival is London’s largest free celebration of France’s national day. This year’s festival features educational workshops, cultural presentations, promenading tours, waiters’ races, bi-lingual storytelling, face painting, loto and snail racing. Plus an artisan craft market and the finest French food from Borough Market’s traders and Bankside’s famous restaurants. The celebrations will continue into the night at the Bal Populaire, a traditional open air party with live music, theatrical spectacles, DJs, outdoor eating, drinking, dancing and singing.
Mexican fiesta takes over London! A packed weekend of exciting contemporary Mexican cinema, music, and food!
A music extravaganza in Hyde Park, Join me and hundreds of others bopping our heads to the sounds of Lionel Richie, Jlo and Eliza Dolittle.
