Breakfast at Tiffany’s is one of my favourite films so I was delighted to receive an invitation from Millennium Hotels to come along to a bloggers screening of the film. On Thursday last week I made my way through the rain to arrive at the Grosvenor Square hotel. The hotel screams one thing Luxury! I definitely would say that Audrey Hepburn’s character, Holly Golightly would have chosen to stay at The Millennium hotel if she was visiting London.”

The screening of the film was held in the hotel’s Manhattan Suite which had lovely terracotta coloured sofas, stylish regency chairs and a large cinema screen in the middle. We were welcomed with glasses of champagne (ooh lovely) and trays of canapes which I didn’t manage to get a picture of but included some lovely duck dim sum. Attending the event was lots of lifestyle/fashion bloggers mostly female so it did feel like a rather lovely girly slumber party.
We were also treated to Tiffany Blue cupcakes which I have sworn to find out how to make them myself. If anyone has a link to recipe let me know!

After mingling and nibbling we settled down to watch the film with popcorn and heart shaped marshmallows. A very lovely way to spend an evening.
My favourite part of Breakfast at Tiffany’s has to be the opening and when I was lucky enough to go to New York Last summer I just couldn’t resist the chance to reenact the scene.

If you haven’t seen Breakfast at Tiffany’s then I would recommend that you do pronto! And if you’re looking for a nice place to take a loved one this Valentines Day, Millennium Hotel in Mayfair ooozes Romance!
Hey Lanky Girl!
I had the pleasure of making the cupcakes you ate at The Millennium Hotel. I am thrilled you liked them and will happily email the recipe.
Best wishes
